Copies of nurse Anne Donnell's diaries (1915-1919) from the First World War, transcribed by Graeme Mitchell.

Biography/History

In 1915 Anne Donnell enlisted as a nursing sister for the Australian Army Nursing Services. She travelled extensively during her war time nursing work to places including Marseilles, Lemnos, Alexandria and Cairo. Anne returned to Australia in 1919.
