Summary

Laurie Clarke, born 1971, in bush near Lake Condah, Vic. Clarke was six months old when he and five of his siblings were removed. He describes the living conditions in St Joseph's Home, Sebastopol, Vic. At around the age of 9, he was fostered out to a white family in Ballarat. Clarke discusses his reunion with his birth family and his working life. He also expresses his views on the policy of removal and how it has contributed to the loss of Aboriginal culture and language.
