This collection was presented to the Library by Mrs Cooke with a copy of Mr Cooke's book Australian Poems, and contains typed photocopies of three songs composed by Mr Cooke; copies of letters to the then Minister for Education (Mr E. Bedford) and the then Prime Minister (Mr M. Fraser); and a photocopy of a newspaper article on Mr Cooke.

Mr Harry Cooke was a WWI veteran who became well-known in the Auburn district of NSW as an artist and poet/song writer.
