Summary

This investigation reviewed the management of child safety complaints by the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services. The investigation found that the department had inadequate complaint recording processes, had failed to publish complaints data and identified the need for greater collaboration between the department and the Office of the Public Guardian. The report was tabled on 19 July 2016.
