- Biography/History:

Peter Drew, an Adelaide artist, used a photograph of a Muslim hawker to get people thinking about what constitutes a 'real Australian' in his poster campaign titled 'What is a real Aussie?'. The man featured in this poster is Monga Khan who lived and worked in Australia as a hawker. He was one of thousands of people who applied for exemptions to the White Australia Policy.
