The Australian Unity Wellbeing Index monitors the subjective wellbeing of the Australian population. Our first survey was conducted in April 2001 and this report concerns the 33rd survey, undertaken in April 2016. Our previous survey had been conducted about 7 months earlier, in August 2015. The intervening period for this survey incorporated the 2016 Federal Government elections which were held in July this year.
