The papers include newspaper clippings (many undated), actors equity members card 1944, Orient line S.S. Osterley, 1916 passenger list which includes Peter Dawson, an annotated copy of the play "And so to bed" by J.B. Fagan, a scrap album ca. late 1930s-1940s which includes theatre programmes from the Independent Theatre, North Sydney and the Minerva Theatre. Other memorabilia include a voluntary helper's pass for the Stage Door Canteen and a telegram from Peter Finch.

Dawn Asimus (nee Bodley) had careers in acting and music in the 1930-1950 period. She performed with the Minerva Company (a famous theatre Company of the 1940s) whose members included Peter Finch. She is descended from the founder of the Bodleian Library.
