Colleen Clifford, an actress, speaks on her childhood in England and New Zealand; early success as a pianist and scholarship at the Royal Academy in London; career in theatre in the 1930s in London including cabaret, variety shows, broadcasting and war concerts; London during World War II; emigration to Australia in 1954; teaching drama and voice production in Perth; founding the Theatre Guild of Perth; radio plays for the ABC; artists she knew in Perth; memories of Noel Coward, Laurence Olivier and other theatre greats; anecdotes from performances and auditions; Australian television drama performances; current projects and the importance of the Catholic Religion in her life.
