- "The Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEET), the Government's market-based scheme, has helped almost 1.5 million Victorians to reduce their bills through improved energy efficiency, and has particularly benefited those on low incomes. During 2015, the Government will strengthen the scheme to further increase its benefits. Improving energy efficiency can significantly relieve cost pressures. An efficient Victorian household can save around 40 per cent of an average household's energy costs. Benefits and bill savings will increase as energy prices rise in future." --Page 2.
