Biography/History

Bill Hirst is the director Public Sector Mapping Agencies (PSMA Australia) since 2007. Hirst was Surveyor-General of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), and the manager of the place naming section (including street addressing) with the ACT Government and one of the co-chairs on the Place Names Committee.
