The print depicts two women at work. A young woman is carrying water in backets and the other woman is resting during cleaning. The poem written at the back is from a famous selection titled, 'Shin kokinshū'. It reads, 'Yūsareba shiokaze koshite Michinoku no Noda no Tamagawa Chidori naku nari' . The poem was made by Nōin Hōshi, a priest, in 11th century.
