Biography/History

Lawyer. Ernst F. Frohlich was born in Vienna in 1917. Frohlich was deported to Australia on the "Dunera" and detained in the Hay and Tatura Internment Camps from 1940 until his release in August 1941. He taught physics at Canberra Grammar School before setting up an importing enterprise in the building industry, Ernst Frohlich & Co. At the age of 45, Frohlich enrolled at the Australian National University.
