She then discusses her marriage to Tony Chisholm in Nov. 1951 and move to Napperby Station, Central Australia as he was the manager. Chisholm then gives her early impressions of the Station; working with Aborigines and dealing with their sick and difficulties involved in adapting to the climate. She then talks about the family's move to Anningie Station and the difficulties involved in renovating the house; living with drought and dust storms; son Roy's education at home, Gocup Public School and then as a boarder at Tudor House and Kings School. Chisholm also talks about the difficulties with communication, reliance on firstly Flying Doctor wireless set and then radio telephone.
