The collection documents Nan McDonald's career as a published poet and includes correspondence, news cuttings, publications, poems, literary contracts and photographs. Correspondents include Rosemary Dobson, Douglas Stewart, Hal Porter, Alec Bolton, Norman Lindsay, James McAuley and Robert D. Fitzgerald (regarding a Vietnam Festival ca. 1968). McDonald's poems in the collection are in published, typescript and manuscript form and include early and unpublished works. The photographs are of the Bolton family.
