National Library of Australia's FC F1858 (FC2 - extra tall) copy is fully bound in leather with five raised bands; acquired by Ferguson from "lot 228 Morgan sale 1938".

National Library of Australia's FC F1858 (FC3 - red) copy is presentation copy inscribed in ink, "Charles Cowper Esquire with the author's kind regards March 30th 1835" and later by Cowper's compliments 13/4/92 to ? Shirley; bears the bookplate of Henry L. White, Belltrees, Scone NSW with pencil note: "Threlkeld went out to Sdyney in 1816. In 1824 he established the Mission to the Aborigines at Lake Macquarie, N.S.W."; fully bound in red cloth by W. McGarvie, bookseller and stationer, George-st., Sydney; also bears the label of A.H. Spencer new & secondhand booksellers & publishers (The 'Hill of Content') Aust.; pencil marks across pages 96-97; with press cutting from the Windsor & Richmond Gazete of 20/6/30 loosely inserted.

National Library of Australia's FRM F1858 (Parliament) copy is fully bound in tan morocco with marbled endpapers; gilt edges and decorations; stamped and accessioned Commonweatlh of Australia, Library of the Parliament 21 Nov. 1904, 7527.

National Library of Australia's FRM F1858 (Petherick) copy is presentation copy inscribed in in "The Reverend William Ellis with the author's kindest regards in Christian affection, March 30th 1835."; embossed Commonwealth Parliament Library, Petherick Collection; bound in red cloth by W. McGarvie, bookseller and stationer, George-st., Sydney; with 3p. typscript list of Aboriginal names of places, with their meanings, in the Manning River District, New South Wales, collected and forwarded by Mr John Thomson from information supplied by aboriginal "Tommy Bulmer" pasted into the rear of the volume.
