- National Library of Australia's FRM F97 (NL, 4401) copy half bound in maroon leather with gilt decorations, five raised-bands, marbled boards, edges and end papers. Inscribed in ink, "Henry S. Badgery 1889" on fly leaf, p.1 and p.250. Second printing of first edition with b&w plates.
- National Library of Australia's FRM F97 (NL, EAP) copy is half bound in brown leather with gilt decorations. First issue with col. plates. Contains a letter from Dr. Nancy T. Burbidge, Systematic Botanist at CSIRO Division of Plant Industry dated 16th March 1956 to Mrs Fanning (NLA) re the authorship of the botanical names used in the Journal loosely inserted.
- National Library of Australia's NK714 copy is fully bound in brown leather with gilt decorations, five raised-bands, marbled boards and endpapers. First issue with 14 col. plates. Bears bookplate of Rex de C. Nan Kivell (no. 1790/6) with note indicating that it was purchased as lot 352 of Hodgson & Co. sale of books from the library at Castle Howard, Yorkshire, 3-4 February 1944.
- National Library of Australia's NK653 copy is quarter bound with cream spine, marbled boards in custom made blue leather and cloth covered box with five raised-bands and gilt decorations. Second printing of the first edition with col. plates. Bears the bookplates of Rex de C. Nan Kivell (no. 1790/5) and G.Y. Fort of Alderbury and is inscribed in ink, "G.Y.F."
- National Library of Australia's NK3799 copy consists of 14 col. plates from White's Journal of a voyage to New South Wales bound after Phillip, Arthur. The voyage of Governor Phillip to Botany Bay (Ferguson, 47). Bound in brown leather with gilt decorations, five raised-bands and marbled boards. Bears the bookplates of Rex de C. Nan Kivell (no. 1789/11).
- National Library of Australia's GMM copy (coloured plates) is half bound in brown leather with marbled boards. Inscribed soon after publication inside the front cover, David Pitcairn, and t.p. verso: "This copy was presented to me by the Editor Thos. Wilson Esq. The plates were etched with great care and coloured by the hand of Miss Stone. D. Pitcairn". Some pencil annotations [by Mathews?]. Second printing of the first edition with col. plates by Sarah Stone, different from the standard coloured issue. Bears the bookplates of Elizabeth Pitcairn, and Ex Libris Gregory Matthews. This appears to be the copy with the cancel leaf stub at p. 240 mentioned in Ferguson.
- National Library of Australia's GMM copy (b&w plates) is fully bound in leather. First issue with b&w plates. Inscribed "This is a copy of the first issue of this work, as known by the error of "page 237" [for 137] in the list of plates in [issue] no. 2 being corrected to 137 in the next issue. "A list of subscribers" is missing from this, but in the next issue it is placed in sheet a between the "Advertisement" and "A list of plates". The plate of the Wattled Bee Eater on p.144 is missing (the female only being here) and the text on pp.239-240 is different. The name merrops carunculatus only appearing on p.240 in this copy. The impressions of the plates in this copy are fine and show the draughsman's name clearly, while in the second issue this is obscure or altogether missing. G.M. Mathews Dec. 2nd 1922.", and on the t.p., "Gregory M. Mathews". Bears the bookplates of James Smith and Ex Libris Gregory M. Matthews.
