"Given at our court at White-hall, the twenty-fifth day of September, 1688 ..."

A general pardon to those committing crimes against the state prior to the reign of James II, providing that they present themselves within 20 days of the date of the proclamation and that they take the oath of allegiance or otherwise transport themselves out of the dominion.
