Writer. Antonio Casella came to Western Australia from Sicily in 1959, with no knowledge of English. He worked in an iron foundry, as a painter, and briefly at the Wittenoom mine before becoming a school-teacher. He has published "Southfalia: an allegorical satire" (1980) and "The sensualist" (1991).
