Established in 1915, the Survey Corps, also known as the Australian Survey Corps was absorbed into the Australia. Army. Royal Australian Engineers Survey Section. It was reactivated in 1932, and during World War 11, Field Survey Companies were formed in each of the Army Command areas to assist the Corps.
