The Dept. of Trade and Customs was established in 1901. In 1956 it was reorganised into two new departments, the Dept. of Trade and the Dept. of Customs and Excise. In 1963 the name of the Dept. of Trade was changed to the Dept. of Trade and Industry. Works by these bodies are found under the name used at the time of publication
