On 22 Sept. 1987 the Standing Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs was changed to the Standing Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs. On 10 Oct. 1994 the Standing Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs changed into two committees, the Senate Legal and Constitutional Legislation Committee, and, Legal and Constitutional References Committee. On September 11, 2006 the 2 Committees merged, and the Standing Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs was re-established. Works by these bodies are found under the name used at the time of publication
