In 1982 the Brisbane Kindergarten Teachers' College, the Kelvin Grove College of Advanced Education, the Mount Gravatt College of Advanced Education and the North Brisbane College of Advanced Education amalgamated to form the Brisbane College of Advanced Education. On January 1, 1990 the Mount Gravatt Campus of the College amalgamated with Griffith University, and on May 1, 1990 the Carseldine, Kedron Park and Kelvin Grove Campuses of the College amalgamated with the Queensland University of Technology. Works by these bodies are entered under the name used at the time of publication
