Late in 1991 MFP-Adelaide (S.A.) changed its name to MFP Development Corporation which was established with a Board of Directors to oversee the progress of the MFP Australia (Project); the Corporation was also known by its trading name of MFP Australia. In Dec. 1996 MFP Development Corporation absorbed both personnel and functions of the Urban Projects Authority whose functions were then transferred from Mar. 1997 to the new MFP Industrial Premises Corporation. The MFP Development Corporation ceased to exist on 1 May 1998 when its functions, assets and staff were transferred to the Land Management Corporation (S.A.).
