Giambattista Marino (also Giovan Battista Marini) (14 October 1569 – 26 March 1625)Russo (ed.), Adone (BUR Classici, 2013), page 31 and page 41 was an Italian poet who was born in Naples. He is most famous for his epic L'Adone.
