The Department of Public Works and Services was formed in April 1995 from the integration of the former NSW Public Works, the Commercial Services Group, parts of the Property Services Group and the Information Technology Policy and Planning Unit of the Premier's Department. Works are entered under the name used at the time of publication. Following the State election on 22 March 2003, the functions of the Dept. of Public Works and Services were incorporated into the new Dept. of Commerce. The Office of Government Business and the Office of Government Procurement were set up within the Dept. of Commerce to cover these functions. Works by these bodies are found under the name used at the time of publication
