In 1973 the Burwood Teachers' College changed its name to State College of Victoria at Burwood. On December 23 1981 the State College of Victoria at Burwood merged with Prahran College of Advanced Education, State College of Victoria at Rusden and the State College of Toorak and became the Victoria College, Burwood Campus. Works by these bodies are found under the name used at the time of publication
