The Dept. of Aboriginal Affairs was formed in 1991 (?). In November 1992, it was absorbed as the Aboriginal Affairs Division (sometimes referred to as Aboriginal Affairs Victoria) in the newly formed Dept. of Health and Community Services. When the Dept. of Health and Community Services changed its name to Dept. of Human Services in 1996, the former Aboriginal Affairs Division became Aboriginal Affairs Victoria. Works by these bodies are found under the name used at the time of publication
