Margaret Elaine Whitlam, AO (née Dovey; 19 November 1919 – 17 March 2012) was an Australian social campaigner, author, and swimmer, and the wife of Gough Whitlam, the Prime Minister of Australia from 1972 to 1975. She represented Australia in swimming at the 1938 British Empire Games in Sydney.
