These are the reminiscences of Robert Charles "Charlie" Kenman, who was born in Queensland on 15/04/1918 to George Kenman and Emma Elizabeth Easlea, married Eleanor Beryl "Ella" Williams in 1945 and had 2 children. He passed away on 14/11/2011 in Toogoolawah, Queensland, Australia. On 3rd October, 2000, the Esk Shire Council awarded Robert Charles Kenman a certificate of appreciation, as winner of the Senior Citizen class, 80-89 years, in recognition of his services to the community. These stories tell of life growing up in the Brisbane River Valley region.
