- Summary:
-
'I wrote this book to share the story of Bur Jangir Kaur who had 15 children in the 1900s. Without any help, her journey of life was far away from her birth place, India, and across the continent in Singapore. It was a very difficult life for her, with no education, but the hard knocks of life made her learn that patience and respect is all we need. Religion gave her joy and happiness and she learnt to gather support from the community.' -- Introduction.
