Collection of 41 hand carved and printed cards documenting Australia Post mail bag designs from between 1986 to 2021, housed in a small hand printed cardboard box with 'Spike's Box of Bags Check list' and background information about the creation of the cards provided by Ian 'Spike' Farrawell.

Biography/History:

Ian 'Spike' Farrawell was born in Horsham, Victoria in 1968 and moved to Canberra in the early 1970s. He started work as a Mail Officer with Australia Post at the Canberra Mail Centre in August 1986. In 2021, to celebrate his 35 years of employment with Australia Post, Ian hand carved and printed the different Australia Post mail bag designs that he had seen used during his career.
