- Summary:
-
The aims of this report are to: determine if the data which underpins the estuarine models previously used elsewhere are applicable for assessing south-east Queensland water plan outcomes; make recommendations for the development of new models and for the enhancement of existing models; summarise our existing knowledge of applicable estuarine assets and formulate relevant ecohydrological rules and thresholds of concern (ToC); and identify any knowledge gaps. The main findings of this report concluded that most assets and models previously used to assess brackish habitat/estuarine ecological outcomes, would not be appropriate for assessing risk and ecological outcomes for the SEQ Water Plans, particularly in their current form.
