"萧楚女传"一书是由武汉市汉阳区档案馆(史志研究中心)组织编写的. 萧楚女,1891年生, 名树烈, 又名萧秋, 学名楚汝, 乳名朝富, 湖北汉阳人. 1922年加入中国共产党.曾任广州农民运动讲习所专职教员. 参加过武昌起义, 五四运动. 1927年4月22日被杀害. 2010年被评为"100位为新中国成立作出突出贡献的英雄模范人物"之一. 书稿分颠沛流离勤学苦读,投身革命迷茫中求索, 苦难里抗争, 到学生中传播新思想, 英勇就义等内容, 记述了萧楚女在新民主主义革命时期作出的贡献.
