Marion Fitzgerald and Ann Plumb (nee Lavallee) were students at the last school on Yallaroi during the 'Settlers' Era' when their fathers were among the twenty two Returned Servicemen from World War II who settled these rich rolling pastoral plains of "Yallaroi" in 1957.
