- Summary:
-
"Claire Baker writes from the heart in this her first book of poems. Her keen observations of people, nature, personal experiences, and family situations have informed her work. Born in Wollongong, Claire has spent most of her life on the NSW Central Coast until moving to the Riverina in 2000 with her family. She still considers herself a 'Coastie'. Claire credits joining Booranga Writers' Centre for enabling her to commit to her poetic craft. Claire's poems have been published in anthologies, in public art, on a bus shelter, and art exhibition catalogues. After winning the Adult Open Poetry Section of the Jugiong Writers' Festival, her poem 'Dinner with Family' was published in Award Winning Australian Writing 2017." -- Back cover.
