"The National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 requires that a plan of management be prepared for each nature reserve...The reserve will be managed to conserve its natural and cultural heritage, while providing opportunity for sustainable public use.This plan of management establishes the scheme of operations for Ngambaa Nature Reserve. In accordance with section 76 of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974, this plan of management is hereby adopted." -- Page iii.

The reserve comprises land that was previously part of Ingalba, Collombatti and Tamban state forests and is located within the Nambucca and Kempsey Local Government Areas.The reserve is approximately 10km southwest of Macksville and 16km northwest of Kempsey." -- Page 1.
