Quinkan Country refers to the lands around the small township of Laura in southeast Cape York Peninsula, Queensland, Australia. The area was added to the National Heritage List in recognition of its spectacular rock art, as featured in this book. This book shares Aboriginal traditional knowledge about the rock art and cultural heritage of Quinkan Country with readers, with proceeds going to help the Laura Rangers care for Quinkan Country.
