This Operational Standard provides guidance for developing, implementing, and managing the activities associated with temporary restrictions on a State-controlled road (SCR). It applies to all activities undertaken by Transport and Main Roads, whether directly or in conjunction with other agencies or organisations, to prepare, apply, access, and remove temporary restrictions on SCRs due to unplanned events, including flooding, bushfires, and other hazardous events.
