Biography/History:

Prominent colonial merchant and landowner Robert Campbell built Duntroon House in 1833 and established the surrounding property as a sheep station. Later the property was selected as the site for Australia's Royal Military College, which opened in 1911 in the newly established Australian Capital Territory.
