- Summary:
-
Rudolf Steiner was a spiritual visionary and a polymath. He had a distinct epistemology and a creative grasp of synthetic geometry which he applied to astronomy, medicine, agriculture, education, architecture and the arts. As someone outside the Anthroposophical Society and the Christian Community, Mark Oliver Smith attempts to understand Steiner's thinking across many of these fields, through a detailed investigation. He uses three organising principles to illuminate aspects of Steiner's thought: microcosm and macrocosm, metamorphosis, and consciousness.
