On 14 October 2023, Australians voted in a referendum about whether to change the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing a body called the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice. This collection documents the start of Michael Long's second Long Walk from Melbourne to Canberra.

In 2004, former AFL athlete Michael Long begun a 650km walk from his home in Melbourne to Parliament house in Canberra to garner support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander issues. In the lead up to the 2023 referendum he repeated the walk in support of the Yes Vote.
