The five case studies within this report form a significant component of the Agricultural Capacity of the Indigenous Estate baseline study and were selected by the Project Steering Committee to provide, as far as practicable, representation of First Nations participation in primary industries across Australia and across the primary production activities, including cattle production, plant cultivation and fisheries.

- The research project that is the subject of this report has been co-funded by the Cooperative Research Centre for Developing Northern Australia (CRCNA), a Cooperative Research Centre established under the Australian Government's Cooperative Research Program, and by the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation (ILSC), a corporate Commonwealth entity that provides for the contemporary and future land and water needs of Indigenous Australians. In-kind contribution to the report's development was provided by the Commonwealth's Department for Agriculture, Water and the Environment (DAWE).
