This report summarises the committee's findings following its examination of the subordinate legislation within its portfolio areas tabled between 15 November 2023 and 13 February 2024. It reports on any issues identified by the committee relating to the policy to be given effect by the legislation, fundamental legislative principles and lawfulness. The objectives of the subordinate legislation are: to prescribe Barcaldine State School (Barcaldine SS) to deliver kindergarten services; and to remove the requirement for non-state schools to report the number of enrolled students with a disability to the Non-State Schools Accreditation Board.
