Archival caption: Unemployment protest march. Ten thousand marchers take to the street in Britain's biggest jobless demonstration since the war. They travelled from all over the country to march on the House of Commons. Pictured, one of the marchers, Ricky Tomlinson, outside the TUC headquarters. The TUC disowned the march on the grounds that "political" groups are making it an anti-Government demonstration. 26th November 1975.
