Bobby Le Brun, vaudeville entertainer, talks about his childhood memories; 1st visit to theatre; schooling; memories of Linden Dadswell; early performances; family background and home life. He then discusses his decision to go into vaudeville; performance of 'Dinks and Onkas'; George Wallace; Tivoli Bill Sadler; working with Australian Drug Company as credit clerk; increasing interest in vaudeville and taking tap dancing lessons. Le Brun then gives the origin of his stage name, Bobby le Brun; entry into pantomine; impact of Depression; working with Dickie Carpenter; decision to concentrate on the theatre ; Lou Dunn and his act; working at Gaiety Theatre in Oxford St; reactions to 'talking movies' and decline of live theatre. He then talks about Mo Rene; Poverty Point, which was the actors' meeting place; Harry Abbey and the formation of "The Continental Four".
