- Map of the Far North Queensland coastline from the tip of Cape York down to Murdoch Point. The Marine Park section is shown extending outwards from the coast with a boundary line marking the Great Barrier Reef Region from the Coral Sea, as well as its southerly intersection with the Cairns Section. Using a chart of activities, color shading is used to reflect proposed zoning areas, such as National Park zones, scientific research zones, preservation zones, and areas of periodic restricted use such as replenishment and seasonal closure zones. Relief is shown underwater by form lines of islands, reefs and sandbars.
- Includes on verso col. ill. and explanatory text on public input into the zoning plan. It also includes a questionnaire with business reply-paid form stating that the closing date is 29 July 1984.
