Relief shown by contours and spot heights.
- Some early sheets produced as dyeline prints.
- Each sheet is named and numbered individually.
- Bottom left of each sheet: South West Division, South West Mineral Field; South West Land Division, South West Mineral Field.
- Compilation date determined from cadastral surveys, state surveys, aerial photography and R.A.S.C. topographical detail derived from aerial photography.
- Series includes sheets which have been reprinted.
