Folkloric recording. Bell speaks about growing up in the Ecklin district in 1940s and 1950s; coping with the family farm after his father's death; the original farmhouse; Sundays; celebrating Christmas and birthdays; attending school at Taroon and Terang; school concerts; local dances; different modes of transport; and his involvement with the United Dairyfarmers of Victoria.
