Colonel F.H. Wright was General Manager of the Batavia Sea and Fire Insurance Company from 1918 to 1953. Dutch Consul in Melbourne from 1924-1954. Wounded at Gallipoli, 1915. Long term member of the Australian Army reserve, in which he was promoted to Colonel in 1943. Director of the Australian Comforts fund during World War II.
