- Library's Palmer collection copy lacks original title page and is inscribed in pencil, "Vance & Nettie Palmer, with regards PS".
- Library' FERG/1493 copy has typescript letter from H. Wright, Mitchell Librarian to J.A. Ferguson dated 27th December 1917 recommending Mr A.J. Hanley of 77 Bourke Street, Melbourne as a source of supply - signing off "With Caesar's greetings" corrected to read "the Season's greetings" - with a holograph note headed D.S. Mitchell: "Strong book and true, One fo the few, That speak in tones, Which nature owns, - That speak, in soothe, One better truth. H.T. Xmas 87" stamped Public Library of N.S.W. Mitchell Library loosely inserted.
- Library's HHP 5283 copy has a portrait of the author and a memorial plaque pasted before and after the title page; signed and inscribed by Sir Henry Parkes on half-title to Ethel Castilla (author, Ethelrita Ramos de Castilla, aka 'Viva') Aug. 21 1894; with invitation from Lindsay Gordon Lovers' Society to the unveiling of a memorial plaque to honour Ada Cambridge at Williamstonw Town Hall on 15 December 1946 bound in before the table of contents.
